Introduction

Ingredients

    1 c. frozen chopped kale
    2 chicken sausages, sliced
    1 can cannelini beans, rinsed
    2-3 cloves garlic, crushed or minced
    4 c. chicken broth
    seasonings: lemon pepper, Franks Hot Sauce, lemon juice

Directions

In a hot skillet, brown the sliced chicken sausage. While the chicken sausage is browning, place the rinsed beans, chicken broth, frozen kale and garlic in a pot and turn on high to boil. Add the sausage, and reduce soup to simmer for 30-45 minutes. Before serving, taste for seasoning and add tsp. Frank's Hot Sauce if desired. Makes 3 large (2 cup) servings, or 6 one cup servings.
