Introduction

A hearty soup with little liquid, mostly turkey and veggies :) A hearty soup with little liquid, mostly turkey and veggies :)
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb ground turkey
    1 15-oz can tomato sauce
    1 14.5-oz can cut green beans
    2 1/2 cups frozen peas
    2 1/2 cups frozen corn kernels
    5-oz water

Directions

Brown ground turkey (I add about 2 tsp garlic pepper and 1/2-1 tbsp dried onion at this point) in large soup pot.
Once brown, add tomato sauce, green beans (with liquid), peas, corn and water. You can add spices, as well (I add fresh ground pepper at this point).
Stir and heat on medium until gently simmering, then lower heat and allow to simmer for about 10 minutes (can simmer longer as preferred).
Makes 8 1-cup servings
