Ingredients

1 pound Brussels sprouts, shredded
1 large onion, sliced
1 cup pecan pieces
cooking oil
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
To shred Brussels sprouts: cut each sprout in half, then slice like you would an onion. This makes it easier to cook all the way through.
Heat some cooking oil and toast pecans by sautéing them on medium heat for 5 minutes. They should become somewhat fragrant. Set aside.
In the same pan, caramelize the onions (10-15 minutess). Then add the shredded sprouts and sauté for 5 minutes. Finally, add back the toasted pecans, add salt and pepper, and you're ready to serve!
