Ingredients

700g Lean Ground Beef,
250 ml tomato juice
75g large flake oats
1 medium egg, lightly beaten
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 180 oC, gas mark 4.
In a large bowl combine all ingredients. Mix lightly but thoroughly.
Press the mixture into a 8 x 4 in loaf tin. Bake for 1 hour until firm when pressed, or until meat thermometer registers 70oC in the centre.
Let the meatloaf stand for 5 mins before draining off any juices and slicing it.
Makes 6 servings.
