Healthy yummy Comfort Food.Can substitute any vegetables for the ones given here.This also does not use onion or tomato.So, on those days that you do not have those and you need to clean the fridge- this is a great alternative .This makes 7 cups. Ingredients

    Green Beans (snap), 1 cup (remove)
    Cabbage, fresh, 2 cup, chopped (remove)
    Broccoli, fresh, 0.5 cup, chopped (remove)
    *Basmati Rice Medley-Trader Joe's, 0.5 cup (remove)
    Olive Oil, 2 tbsp (remove)
    *dry red lentils, 1 cup (remove)
    *Raw Toor dal - 0.5 cup, 2 serving (remove)
    Curry powder, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Turmeric, ground, 0.25 tbsp (remove)

Directions

Cut Cabbage intp long pieces.Put loive oil in the cooker and once it heats up.put in the cabbage.Leave for about 2 minutes.Then add the Sambar (Curry) powder ) ,Turmeric and Jeera Powder.(if present).Let the spices cook.Then put in the frozen beans and broccoli.Let it cook for about 2 minutes.Then add the rice and lentils(Wash both before doing so) .Let it cook for 3 whistles.If doing on a stove top, let it cook till the lentils soften. Add 5 cups of water. I also put Mangodi(Not sure how to translate that - but they are like little soybean balls) .After done, you could add more water if needed
