Introduction

This is a recipe I found on here already, but I substituted some lighter ingredients to make it lower in calories. This is a recipe I found on here already, but I substituted some lighter ingredients to make it lower in calories.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
    3/4 cup granulated splenda
    1/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
    2/3 cup fat-free plain yogurt
    2/3 cup skim milk
    1 tbsp vanilla extract

Directions

In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Stir in yogurt, milk, and vanilla just until moistened. Coat muffin cups with nonstick cooking spray, or use paper liners. Fill two-thirds full. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.

Makes 12 muffins.
