Ingredients

    24 oz uncooked egg noodles
    3 cups cubed fully cooked ham
    4 cups frozen cut green beans, thawed
    1 cup milk
    2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the ham, soup, beans, and milk. Drain the pasta; pour over the ham mixture and toss to coat. Transfer to two greased 13x9x2 in baking dishes. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and freeze one casserole for up to 3 months. Bake the remaining casserole, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25-30 or untin heated through.
To use frozen casserole: Thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees fro 40-45 minutes or until heated through. Yeild: 2 casseroles (8servings each).

    Incredible!
    I do not know what soup they use but I have tried both cream of chicken soup and cream of mushroom and think the mushroom taste better in it. I also use green peas instead of beans and sprinkle with lots of thyme! Also I add 1/2 tsp black pepper and 1/2 tsp salt.

    What soup do you use for this recipe? The ingredients list has no soup, but in the mixing directions it mentions "combining soup" Thanks! seshamel@comcast.net - 1/18/11
