Ingredients
-
Buffalo Meat, 6 oz
Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 cup, chopped
Onions, sweet, raw, 1/2 cup, chopped
Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1/4 cup chopped
Lemon Juice, 2 tsp.
Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
Garlic powder, 2 tsp
Pepper, black, 2 tsp
Sea Salt, 1 tsp
Directions
Place steak on a plate and sprinkle salt (if desired) on both sides, then garlic powder then pepper.
Preheat oven (400 degrees) or skillet on a high heat (as you want to sear the meat at first).
Begin mixing the tomatoes, onions, bell pepper, lemon juice and olive oil in a bowl and place in refrigerator. (you can add salt and pepper if desired)
Place meat in oven or skillet and sear for 6 minutes (3 minutes each side) then turn down oven (325 degrees) or skillet medium low, and cook 6 minutes on each side. If you like your meat cooked all the way through, take a little more time on low heat so that you don't dry out the meat.
Place meat on a plate but wait at least 5 minutes before slicing so you don't lose moisture.
Plate the meat and top with the fresca salsa, serve.
