Introduction

This is my grandma's recipe and they are awesome!!! This is my grandma's recipe and they are awesome!!!
Number of Servings: 48

Ingredients

    1 C Brown Sugar
    1 C White Sugar
    1 C Butter(Or Shortening)
    2 Eggs
    1 t Vanilla
    2 C Flour
    1 t Soda
    1/2 t Baking Powder
    1/2 t salt
    2 C Oatmeal
    2 C Cornflakes(Sometimes I crush up Rice Chex or whateverr I have on hand)
    1 C Coconut
    1/2 C Nuts

Directions

Mix it all together and roll into balls, they will flatten out during cooking.
Cook for about 9 to 10 minutes on 350 Degrees.
Makes 48 cookies

    Incredible!
    I got this same recipe from somone else and it is wonderful. My 17 yo dd started to snub her nose at the coconut, but she tried them anyway and loved them. I substituted spelt flakes for the corn flakes and used white spelt flour. (I have sensitivities to wheat and corn.) Awesome cookies!!! - 10/14/10
