Black Beans- sm can
Diced Tomatoes- big can
Ground Turkey- 1lb package
Chicken Kielbasa- 1 pkg
Hot Chili Seasoning packet- 1 packet
Salt - to taste
Pepper- to taste
Cumin - 1 tsp
Crushed Red Pepper- 1/2 tsp
Garlic powder- 1/2 tsp
Olive Oil - 1 TBSP
Directions
In large skillet- 12in- heat olive oil. Saute onions until tender.
Open ground turkey and season with Salt, Pepper, Cumin, Garlic Powder & Crushed red Pepper. Add to skillet. Break up, and cover to retain moisture. Dice chicken sausage or kielbasa, add to turkey. Cook until pink is gone.
Rinse black beans. I do not rinse the kidney beans, to thicken the chili up. Add whole can of diced tomatoes & beans. Stir. Add whole packet of Chili Seasoning, I prefer hot, you can use mild.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
We eat this over spaghetti- You can eat it plain or with rice as well.
