Ingredients
-
2 lbs round steak
2 tbsp yellow mustard
one packet dry onion soup mix
6 slices uncooked bacon (can skip to save calories)
one onion sliced
one can cream of mushroom soup(10.7 oz)
2 cups fresh mushrooms sliced
fresh or dried oregano ( 1tsp is what I normally use)
Sprinkle of grill seasoning
Directions
lay out round steak and spread the yellow mustard over one entire side and then sprinkel the packet of dry onion soup mix over the mustard. Lay the slices of bacon to cover the soup mix add spices to taste I usually use oregano and salt and pepper and a bit of grill seasoning..and roll up meat into a roll, secure with tooth picks.
Line a shallow baking pan with alum foil enough to make a packet and seal around the meat roll. Lay the meat roll on the aluminum foil and layer the sliced onions on the roll. Add the sliced mushrooms and cover with the can of cream of mushroom soup. Seal the aluminum foil into a packet and bake for 3 hours at 350 degrees. We normally get 8 servings out of one roll. The gravy with mushrooms and onions makes great gravy for rice.
Serve over rice or noodles or simply with a salad and steamed veggeis. (not included in calorie count)
