Introduction

Ingredients

    Onions, 1 medium
    Tomato Sauce, 1/2 can
    Stewed Tomatoes, 1 can
    Mushrooms, fresh, 1 cup in slices
    Oregano, ground, 1 tsp
    Chili powder, a dash
    Olive Oil, 1/2 tbsp
    White Wine, 2 oz
    Thyme, a dash
    Worchester sauce, a dash
    Butter,1 pat
    Garlic, 3 cloves
    Red Thai Chillis - 2 small
    Salt, . 1 tsp or to taste
    Pepper, black, .5 tsp or to taste

Directions

Add the olive oil and wine to a saucepan. Saute the onions 10-12 minutes until translucent. Add in the canned tomatoes and tomatoe sauce after the onions appear to be reasonably cooked. Add finely chopped garlic and red thai chiillis {If you like so spice things up!} Simmer and let reduce on low heat for about 30 minutes or until it reaches a desired consistency .{IThe sauce can also be thinned with more water or wine} Add in spices such as salt, pepper, oregano, thyme and chilli powder to taste and stir. Splash in the mushrooms and let simmer for another 10 minutes or until the mushrooms look done. Add a bit of butter at the end to give the sauce a nice sheen and flavor. Serve with pasta noodles and enjoy!
