Introduction

I used the recipe from the box, added raisins, cinnamon and syrup to make a delicious hot breakfast for 5. I refrigerate the hot cereal in a loaf pan overnight, then cut it into 4 servings to reheat the next 4 mornings for myself. Ingredients

1 cup Bob's Red Mill 10 Grain Hot Cereal
    3 cups water
    1/2 cup raisins
    1 teaspoon cinnamon*
    1/8 cup pancake syrup

    *more or less to taste

Directions

Boil water, add cereal and raisins, cover an simmer on low for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, stir in syrup and cinnamon. Makes 5 servings.

To make 5 servings for one person, pour into glass loaf pan, cool, then cover and refrigerate overnight. The next morning you can cut it into fifths and remove one serving each day for 5 servings. I have a glass loaf pan with a glass lid to fit. It's the perfect size.
