Ingredients

    6 lb lean london broil, chopped small bits
    2 28 cans chopped tomaotes
    6 bay leaves
    3 long hot peppers
    good dash of white vinegar
    3 tsp chili powder
    tbl sugar
    salt and pepper
    1 lb bag of carrots, shredded
    6 lrg onions, chopped
    2 lrg red peppers, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    about a cup of celery, chopped
    2 40oz cans light red kidney beans
    6oz can tomato paste
    jar marinara sauce
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

chop london broil into small pieces, put in crock pot with chopped tomatoes, hot peppers, chili powder, bay leaves, vinegar, sugar, salt & pepper, cook overnight. Next day add grated carrots. Saute onions, red & green peppers, celery in large pot until softened, add meat mixture, tomato paste, marinara sauce and kidney beans. Cook about an hour longer on low.
