Introduction

I've been making quick. easy, tasty spaghetti like this since I can remember being able to reach the stove. Onions and garlic are the bare minimal for the veggies you can possibly add. Portabello mushrooms, fresh tomato slices, aspargus and zuccini and even yellow squash are amoung others you can add at the early stages of the cooking directions. Ingredients

    1 yellow onion
    1 clove garlic
1 can stwed or chopped tomatoes
1 half pound lean ground beef
1 jar of your favorite store bought pre-made spaghetti sauce (Bertollis is great)
    Pepper
    Oregano
    Spaghetti noodles
    4 TBSP Olive Oil

Directions

Makes 4 1-cup servings. Chop whole onion and garlic clove finely and add into sauce pan with olive oil. Sprinkle pepper and oregano on top. Cook at medium for about 5 minutes to warm oil. Add Lean ground beef and brown at high(remember to turn your stove fan on) until ready to drain fat. Turn stove down to low, or simmer and add your jar of spaghetti sauce and stewed tomatoes and stir. Let simmer for about 10 minutes or more if you have extra time. (The longer it simmers, the more flavorful and tender the onions will be.) In the time your let your sauce simmer you can cook your spaghetti noodle in a seperate pan. I put a teaspoon of olive oil in my boiling water, it's makes the noodles just right. Cook until tender.
