Introduction

This low carb, low cal dish is the only way I eat a portabella mushroom. I'm a picky eater, but it's so delicious I know you'll love it. This low carb, low cal dish is the only way I eat a portabella mushroom. I'm a picky eater, but it's so delicious I know you'll love it.

Ingredients

Reduced fat pork sausage (4 servings)
    4-portabella mushrooms
    4-mozzerella slices
    4-hick tomato slices

Directions

-Preheat the oven to 475.
-Clean the portabellas (remove the gills)
-Brown the pork sausage
-Place the portabellas on a cookie sheet and top with crumbled pork sausage, the tomato, and the slice of cheese.
-Top off with a shake of oregano, and pop in the oven for about 10 minutes.

Once cheese is melted I like to broil mine until the cheese is just a little brown.

Eat and Enjoy!

    Very Good
This sounds really good, although I will use chicken or turkey sausage ( I don't like pork sauge very much). TY for the recipe - 11/17/10
