Introduction

This was the first thing I ever looked up a recipe to make when I was a kid~ now it's a family favorite & always reminds me of my dear father. This was the first thing I ever looked up a recipe to make when I was a kid~ now it's a family favorite & always reminds me of my dear father.
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups flour
    2 cups milk
    2 eggs
    1 tbs sugar
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    2 tbs butter, melted

Directions

Combine all dry ingredients, & then add wet.

Use a hand mixer to get all smooth~ heat a small fry pan very hot & add a little butter.
Pour scant ladle-full into hot buttered pan~ twirl so batter reaches all sides, the edges will be lovely & lacy.
When the batter is almost set, flip & brown the other side.

Flop onto plate & enjoy with honey, or syrup of your choice.
