Ingredients

    2 cups dry chick peas
    1 cup dry fava beans
    3 medium onions
    1 parsley
    3 tsp cumin powder
    1 tsp curry powder
    3 tsp coriander
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp black pepper
    3 tsp garlic powder (or fresh)
    0.5 cup Canola Oil

Directions

Soak chick peas and fava beans separately for 1 day. Then grind separately. Grind parsley, onion, and spices. Mix all together excluding the oil. (MORE INSTRUCTIONS TO COME)

There is more oil that is used but I didn't want included with the calorie count.

Makes about 30 2" patties.

    calories are not for one serving, unless you are really hungry (or over-eating)- this is about 1 pound of dried beans we are talking about! Can anyone to eat all of that in one go? - 8/1/09

    I'm sorry. When I made this, I froze most of it. I wasn't sure how many I could make. Once I figure it out, I'll change the numbers.
