Introduction

Attmitedly not particularly low-fat (RIBS!), but this is my mom's old recipe, and they are absoletly worth making as a treat once in a while. Father's day, perhaps? Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb pork spareribs
    1/4 cup chili sauce
    1/8 cup brown sugar
    1 T dark rum
    1/8 cup ketchup
    2 T worcestershire sauce
    2 T low-sodium soy sauce
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1/2 t dry mustard
    pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F. Wrap ribs in double thickness of foil. Bake for 1 1/2 hours.

Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour.

Return to oven and bake another 1/2 hour at 350F, basting with sauce.

    Incredible!
    We're having this tonight & I just finished making the marinade so I looked at the Recipes to see if I could add something close to my recipe to my tracker -- and here it is! I can assure everyone that this is so good, you won't mind settling for a smaller portion - - 9/8/14
