Ingredients
-
Chocolate Chips (Milk or Dark)
Fresh, Whole Strawberries
Sprinkles
Directions
Wash and pat dry the berries - make sure they are dry before you dip them or the chocolate will get lumpy.
Fill a large sauce pan 1/3 full with water and place it over medium/high heat.
Use a smaller sauce pan or metal bowl to make a double bolier - don't heat the chocolate on the stove directly.
Melt the chocolate chips - don't stir them until the are melted - I don't know the reason why but it works better.
Dip each strawberry half way into the chocolate and place it on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
Add sprinkles as desired.
Chill for about 15 minutes or until the chocolate sets.
I love making these for all occasions - i just change the sprinkles - I even make them during football/hockey season with our team colors!!
