Ingredients

    Clementine Simple Syrup:

    3 quartered clementines
    1 Cup granulated sugar
    1 Cup water

    Other Ingredients:

    2/3 Cup cranberry juice
1/3 Cup fresh lime juice (from 2 limes)
1 and 1/2 Cups vanilla vodka
    1 thinly sliced clementine

    To make the simple syrup:

In a medium pot, squeeze as much juice as you can from the quartered clementines. Add the rinds to the mix. Add 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat the mixture to simmering for 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally.

Strain the syrup using a fine mesh strainer (really push on the clementines in the strainer to get all of the juices out). Depending on your liking or disliking of pulp in your drinks, you may want to strain the syrup a few times.

Pour the simple syrup into a pitcher. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into an ice filled shaker cup and shake (Or, you can add ice to your pitcher, stirring it with a long spoon until chilled, then strain to remove the ice). Strain into cosmo/martini glasses and add a thin slice of clementine to each drink. Yummy! Enjoy!
