Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    .89 lb of Chuck steak (about 4 steaks)
    1 16 oz. package of Baby Carrots
    8 small red potatoes cut into quarters
    1 medium vidalia onion
    2 tablespoons of Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb

Directions

Wash meat, potatoes and carrots well. Peel the onion and cut into pieces about 2 inches each. Place the steak in the bottom of a crock pot then sprinkle with Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb seasoning. Layer ingredients from the bottom in this order:
Steak
Mrs. Dash
Onions
Potatoes
Carrots
Add 8-10 ounces of water to the crock pot and set on low. Let cook for about 8-10 hours or until potatoes and carrots are done.

This recipe makes 4 servings. Each serving consits of 1 piece of steak, 8 potato quarters, onions and carrots as desired.

    Incredible!
    I made this tonight and the family loved it. Including the 5 and 6yo. I will be making this again. It could have used a lot more seasoning, so I will add the Garlic & Herb in between each layer, plus some salt. My husband was impressed with how tender the chuck steaks were. - 4/7/14

    instead of water she used a 15oz can of it. style tmatoes, then thickened it with a ittle corn starch slurry, eas to make and very good. - 2/23/14

    Instead of water I ussed a 15 oz can od diced tomatoes italian style and then thickened with a little corn starch slurry easy to make and very good - 8/6/11
