Introduction

From "Party with Aarti" on Food Network. I added more raisins (I used 1/2 c and she uses 1/4 c). Puts a little pizzazz into the regular old oats we cook day after day. Very filling! She suggests sprinkling pepitas on the top, which adds good texture. I did not enter them into the recipe. From "Party with Aarti" on Food Network. Ingredients

Old fashioned oats, pumpkin puree, almond milk, raisins, water, cinnamon, ground cloves.

Directions

In a large pot, bring almond milk, water, and pumpkin to a boil. Add oats and bring to a boil, stirring until finished. Depending on the oats, this may take 5 minutes, or it may take 20. I used Kroger oats, and it took ~5 minutes. Makes 8 3/4-cup servings (fewer if you check the Food Network -- she says it makes 4 servings, if you want a really big bowl!)
