Introduction

An incredibly tasty way to get an boost of protein in the morning AND a great arm workout!

So good, there's no syrup required!

Note: this was made using Red Mill Whey Protein Concentrate (powder), which is unflavored. Using a different protein powder will give you different nutritional results, but will probably still be tasty!

Ingredients

    2 egg whites
1/4 c Red Mill Whey Protein Powder Concentrate (unflavored)
    1 tbsp ground cinnamon
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    1/2 c plain oatmeal

Begin by beating egg whites until frothy. This is a great arm work out AND makes the pancakes fluffy! Just make sure to switch arms halfway through so you don't end up with one arm that's more toned than the other. The eggs are frothy when there are no more "dark" spots, or unbeaten portions of egg white.

After the eggs are done, stir in protein powder, cinnamon, brown sugar, and oatmeal until just combined. There should be no dry bits of protein powder.

Heat a skillet or griddle on high until hot, then turn heat to medium-low. Spray with Pam. Pour batter onto griddle and cook until the edges dry and slightly bubbly. Then flip and cook until the center is set and no longer squishy.

    Enjoy!
