Introduction

My Grandmother used to make this recipe but instead of bought fruit she used home canned fruit. My Grandmother used to make this recipe but instead of bought fruit she used home canned fruit.

Ingredients

    1 Qt (4 cups) slightly sweetened fruit (I like peaches)
    1 cup sugar or Splenda
    1 cup flour
    1 cup milk
    1/2 cup butter or margerine
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp Vanilla
    1/2 tsp salt

Directions

1. Melt butter pour in a baking dish.
2. Mix everything but fruit and butter in a bowl. (Sugar, milk, flour, baking powder, vanilla, and salt) mix and pour it the baking dish on top of the melted butter. Do not mix with the butter.
3. Spoon fruit on TOP of the crust mixture. Do not mix.
4. Bake 25-30 min at 350 degrees
