Introduction

A yummy, warm, easy to make dish that I always LOVED when I was younger. Definitely my version of "comfort."

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 Tablespoon butter (I use Smart balance omega)
    1 tbl Flour (I use Wondra for this)
    1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
    Pepper to taste
    1 cup milk (I used unsweetened plain almond breeze almond milk)
    2 cans Albacore Tuna (I use Kirkland brand)
    1.5 cups of frozen or canned peas

Directions

-Melt Butter
-Add flour, salt and pepper and stir until flour is slightly browned
-Remove from heat and stir in milk until flour is mixed
-Return to heat and stir until thickened for 1 minute
-Add tuna and peas and cook until warm
-Toast bread of choice (I usually use sourdough) and place on plate, spoon Creamed Tuna over toast and enjoy!
