Introduction
I call it "Top Secret" because my husband isn't allowed to have the recipe because otherwise it'll lose its appeal and he'll stop eating his veggies! I don't measure anything, and it always comes out slightly different, but always yummy! It makes a great guilt-free snack! Michelle's Top Secret Low Fat Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
Stonyfield Lowfat Plain Organic Yogurt (yes, has to be this exact one!)
If it seperates, pour off the liquid.
DRIED Seasonings:
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder (or Minced)
Dried Onion (LOTS!)
Parsley
Italian Seasoning (optional)
Seasoning SALTS:
McCormick Mediterranean Spiced Sea Salt (must have)
Badia Complete Seasoning (optional)
Garlic Salt
Assorted Veggies:
Carrots
Bell Peppers (mini if possible)
Celery
Tomatoes
Raw broccoli
Cucumbers
Anything else you can think of! And if you have ideas, drop me a line and let me know!
Directions
Start with the yogurt, as much dip as you'd like to make.
Add lots of dried onion which will give it texture, a moderate amount of all the dried seasonings, and less of the salts.
If it is too bland, try adding a little more of the Mediterranean salt or garlic salt.
For a kick, try adding some freshly ground black pepper.
Serve with assorted veggies (my favorite is mini peppers) and enjoy!
