Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 lbs ny steak cut into medium dice or finer if you like
    6 cloves garlic minced
    1 medium onion diced
    1 Tbsp Olive oil
    1 tsp sallt
    2 tsp black pepper
    1/2 tbsp dried cilantro or fresh if you have it...maybe 1/4 cup
    1 tbsp ground oregano
    6 tbsp chili powder
    1 tbsp cumin powder
    1 can(10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies
    2 15 cans kidney beans drained

Directions

heat olive oil over medium heat in a large pot
add diced onion and minced garlic and saute
add diced steak (I used ny steak) and brown
add salt pepper chili cumin oregano and cilantro
add rotel tomatoes with green chili
add tomato sauce
add kidney beans drained
Cover and simmer for 15 min. Remove from heat and serve with onions, cheddar cheese and sour cream on the side

Makes 8-10 servings
