Introduction

This is my homemade chillie This is my homemade chillie
Number of Servings: 14

Ingredients

    lean ground beef about 2 lbs. can use 1 1/2 pds. (subsitute with ground turkey)
    Onion 1 med to large
    bell pepper 1/2
    light kidney beans 2 cans
    dark kidney beans 2 cans
    canned tomatoes 1
    tomatoe sauce 2 cans
    water 1 cup or to taste
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    garlic powder to taste
    chillie powder to taste

Directions

In skillet brown ground beef, onions, green peppers, drain. Add beans, tomatoes, tomatoe suace, and ground beef mixture to crookpot. Even tho I have listed amounts on t he seasoning you do them to your taste. Cook in crookpot as long as you want to but at least 3 hours.

This makes about 14 cups
