Ingredients

    1 pound lump or claw crab meat
    2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
    1 Tbsp seafood magic seasoning
    Pinch of cayenne pepper
    1 egg
    1-1/2 Tablespoons mayonnaise* (can sub ff mayo)
    1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
    Salt and pepper to taste
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 tablespoon red bell pepper, minced
    2 tablespoons chopped cilantro or parsley.
    2 tablespoons finely chopped shallot or green onion
    ˝ cup cornmeal

    2 tablespoons olive oil


Directions

Pick over crab meat, removing any cartilage. Beat egg and then add rest of ingredients except olive oil. Gently mix all ingredients. Chill for at least 2 hours or up to 12 hours.

Make into cakes approximately 2 inches in diameter by 3/4 inches high (8 cakes). Sauté in the olive oil until golden brown on both sides in a nonstick pan.
