Introduction

A thick hearty soup that tastes great on a cold day. A thick hearty soup that tastes great on a cold day.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    4-5 small potatos, skin on, diced
    2 med. carrots, diced
    1 large onion, diced
    6 T. butter
    4 c. chopped, cooked chicken
    1 16 oz. bag frozen corn
    2 cans creamed corn
    1 T. salt
    1/2 t. paprika
    1 T. parsley flakes
    6 pieces cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
    6 c. milk
    1/2 t. black pepper
    1/4 t. ground mustard

Directions

Melt butter in 8 qt. stock pot. Add potatos, carrots & onion and saute over medium heat for 5-7 minutes stirring frequently. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Even better the second day!
