Introduction

I am loving hummus and this hummus is refreshing but has a bite to it. It's great to dip tortilla chips and lots of veggies or spread on a sandwich. I am loving hummus and this hummus is refreshing but has a bite to it. It's great to dip tortilla chips and lots of veggies or spread on a sandwich.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 15.5oz can of low sodium Garbanzo Beans
    1 clove of garlic (may need two depending on your taste)
    1 handful of fresh cilantro
    1 tbsp + 2 tsp. of Tahini paste or sauce (I used Trader Joes sauce in the refrigerator section)
    1 jalapeņo, seeded (be careful not to touch it and wash your hands after)
    Juice of 1 lemon or 3 tbsp of juice

    Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend until all mixed well and a smooth consistency.

You may need to add salt & pepper to your tasting.

Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

Makes approx 2 cups. Calculation is 2 tablespoon per serving.

    Very Good
    This was really yummy! I added some fresh lime juice in addition to the lemon juice. I had it on a baked potato and then had some on corn chips! Num Num Num! - 5/10/13
