This makes thirty two pitas, small size. for larger cut dough in 16 peices of course this will then increase the nutritonal info. My kids love these, we stuff them with veggies or lean meats, or even spread them with peanut butter, or make a mini pizza for after school snack. Ingredients

5.5 cups flour ( recipe using white try sub 1/2 whole wheat)
2 pkg Rapid Rise Yeast (4 1/2 teaspoons if using bulk)
2 cups skim milk
3 tablespoons Sugar
2 teaspoons yeast
2 teaspoons salt
3 Tablespoons butter or oil
Directions
Mix 2 cups flour, and yeast. In a microwave bowl heat milk, salt, butter and sugar to 115 degrees. Add to dry mixture and beat for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Stur in enough remaining flour to mke a soft keedable dough. Knead dough for 4 min. Place kneeded dough in a bowl and cover with pam sprayed plastic wrap. Let rise for 45 min. Punch down dough, cover and let rest for apporx 10 min. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Divied dough into 32 peices and form each into a ball. let rest 5 min, the roll each into 4 to 6 inch flat rounds. place pita on baking screen in the pre heated 400 degree oven for 7 min until puff and lightly browned. cool on cloth-covered surface.
