Ingredients

    1 1/2 lbs pork chops, boneless
    1 tbsp oil
    1 tsp cumin
    1 tsp chili powder
    1 1/2 cups salsa
    1 tsp cocoa powder
    1/8 tsp cinnamon

Directions

In small bowl, combine cumin and chili powder. Rub over both sides of chops. Brown in oil over medium heat. In small bowl, combine salsa, cocoa powder, and cinnamon. Pour over pork chops. Bring sauce to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 8-10 minutes, turning once.

    Very Good
    This was delicious, and not hard to do! I've always wanted to try a Mole recipe. I used whole cumin as I'd run out of the ground, and increased the spices a bit. I served it with sour cream and wedges of lime, with brown rice and a salad. Next time I will do it in the slowcooker. - 3/15/08
