Ingredients

    Water, 2 L
    Lentil, green, dry 260 gram(s)
    Swiss Chard, 1 cup, chopped
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    *Onion (Yellow), 1 med, raw chopped
    Garlic, 2 cloves
    Fettuccini 50 gram(s)
    *Lemon Juice, 1 lemon yields
    10 springs fresh Coriander
    2 Lemons

Directions

Makes 12 cups

Rinse lentils, pick stones if any
Boil lentils in water until firm-tender
Wash chard, trim leaves and chop in 1" coarse pieces
Cut stems in slim 2" long pieces
Chop onion, and fry with chard stems in olive oil until onion is translucent
Add onions and chard to the soup
Mush the garlic and add to the soup
Boil pasta and set aside
Boil the soup and let simmer for 20 minutes or until lentil is falling apart. Chard should be coocked by now
Add chopped cilatro and coocked pasta
Let boil a minute
Squeeze 2 fresh lemons in the soup and serve hot
