Ingredients

1.5 Tbls Butter
1 Tble Olive oil
2oz vermicelli pasta broken into 1/2 inch lengths
1/2 cup brown basmati
1/2 cup quinoa
1/2 cup lentils(washed well)
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup pine nuts
1/4 cup sesame seeds( untoasted)
6 cups water
2 Tbls onion powder
1/2 Tbls Cumin
1 Tbls Marjoram
1/2 teas celery salt
2 Tbls tahini paste
3 cubes low sodium bullion
Directions
Melt butter and oil together in pot with pasta, rice, quinoa, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, lentils, and pine nuts- stir frequently until golden brown.(20 minutes)
Then add water and spice/seasonings. Bring to a boil and reduce heat until it stays JUSt at a gentle boil. Cook 10 minutes- stirring frequently. Then reduce heat to simmer- cover and cook 40 minutes until water is absorbed.
Serving Size: makes 12 generous half cup servings
