Introduction
The ever-changing smoothie. Throw in what you have, but these are the basics. Since I juice I know this isn't totally accurate. The ever-changing smoothie. Throw in what you have, but these are the basics. Since I juice I know this isn't totally accurate.Number of Servings: 2
Ingredients
-
3 medium carrots
3 apples (granny smith or whatever)
1 pear
2 oranges
large handful of frozen mixed fruit
1 fresh banana
Directions
Juice the carrots, apples, pear and oranges. Throw banana and frozen fruit into blender. Add juice. Blend.
I add asparagus when in season (juiced). Strawberries or blueberries when in season. Try grapes in the juicer! Makes it really sweet! This is just the basic. You can add whatever you have. Pineapples and Kiwi are great juiced. I could go on and on...
*My DH likes me to add a couple T. of fat free vanilla yogurt into his portion because the lactose doesn't agree with me, I just pour out mine first.
Serving Size: Makes 6 cups
