Introduction

Low Fat - I take an entire bag of beans, soak them overnight, rinse them well and drain, then portion out into 2 cup containers, fill enough water to cover and freeze for easy prep later on. Ingredients

    2 cups pre prepared black beans from dry with water
    2 slices Butterball 65% less fat Turkey Bacon
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    2 Tbsp Light Plain Silk Soymilk
    water

Directions

Cook 2 slices turkey bacon. Chop up. Add beans, mash up some, add garlic powder and bring to a light boil. Stir in milk. Add water to desired consistency. Makes a great filler for a wrap.
Serving size: about 1/2 cup

    This sounds like an easy recipe, but the cooking instructions for the beans have been left out. You can't just soak the beans, freeze them, and expect to be able to mash them without cooking. Doesn't work. - 10/10/08
