Introduction

This is an easy marinated steak for those of us who are alone, but you can easily adjust it for more servings. This is an easy marinated steak for those of us who are alone, but you can easily adjust it for more servings.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1/3 lb eye of round steak, trimmed and well marbled

Balsamic viniagrette dressing (I used Portman's Select that I was able to get at Sav-A-Lot, but you should be able to use any that you like)

Directions

First thing in the morning, place the thawed steak in a shallow bowl and pour about 4 tablespoons of the dressing over it. Cover with plastic wrap and keep in refrigerator. Allow to marinate until cooking time. If able, about halfway through the day, turn the steak over to continue marinating.

I pan fry my steak in a nonstick skillet with just a little cooking spray, but this can also be broiled or grilled, if you prefer cooking it that way.

(Since a lot of the calories come from the marinade, and 3/4 of the marinade gets tossed out, I adjusted the ingredients calculator to only allow 1 tablespoons, even though I used 4 in the actual recipe).
