Ingredients

    1 1/4 water
    1/4 cup skim milk powder
    1 1/4 tsp salt
    1 tbsp liquid honey
    1 tbsp molasses
    2 tbsp shortening or vegetable oil
    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    2 cups all-purpose or bread flour
    1/3 cup bran cereal
    1/3 cup 7-grain cereal (or any # of grain cereal)
    1 tsp bread machine yeast

Directions

This is a BREAD MACHINE recipe.
Measure ingredients into the baking pan in the order recommended by your machine manufacturer. Insert pan into oven chamber.

Select 1.5 lb (750 g) loaf and whole wheat cycle.

    I made this today and it's really yummy with a bit of low sugar apricot jelly! It will be a perfect breakfast for me before school! Only trouble was I have the smaller bread machine, so I tried to cut the recipe down to a 1 pound size,my calculations were not very good because it overflowed,oops! - 1/2/11

    Incredible!
    I did not have everything it called for, so I did make substitutions. It still turned out fantastic. I used Flax meal in place of the bran cereal and buck wheat flour in place of the other cereal. I also included 1/4 c. cracked wheat. I had to add a bit more water. - 1/30/10
