Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb Beef, ground
    1 lb Turkey, ground
    .5lb Onion, Chopped
    3 oz Garlic, Chopped
    4 oz Tomatoes, Chopped Plum
2 Cans 10 oz Cans of Rotel Original Diced Green Chilies & Tomatoes
    2 Tbsps Cumin, Ground
    2 Tbsp Chili Powder, Hot

Directions

1. In a large heat proof pot, brown the Ground Beef & Ground Turkey Breast.
2. After browning the meats, add the chopped Onions, Garlic, Tomatoes, and Canned Rotel, mix well and then cook for about 10 minutes.
3. Add the ground Cumin and Chili Powder, mixing well.
4. Bring to a boil, turn down to low simmer and cook for another 2 hours.

I like my chili hot, so use heavy duty hot chili powder. So adjust the amount and type of chili powder according to your preferences. There is no added salt because the canned Rotel and Tomatoes have salt. Taste chili to see if you want added salt.
