Introduction

A delicious pasta sauce recipe using a jar of pre-made sauce and featuring lots of zucchini and fresh tomatoes. Makes a lot; great for freezing! Serve over whole wheat pasta. Ingredients

    6 zucchini
    2 cup cherry tomatoes, chopped
    1 tube gimme lean ground beef style
    1 cuporganic frozen broccoli
    1 can black olives
    1 small container fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 medium onion
    5-6 cloves garlic
    1 tsp hot sauce
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    2 tsp Italian Seasoning (and any other herbs you like in sauce)
    jar of favorite pasta sauce
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Saute all vegetables in olive oil
Add sauce, seasonings, hot sauce, balsamic vinegar
Let simmer
