Ingredients

Beans, black, 1 cup, mashed
brown rice 1 cup cooked
Garlic, 2 cloves, pressed through garlic press
Leeks, finely diced, 2 tbsp
*Sweet Potato, mashed, 2 tbsp
Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp
Oregano, ground, 0.5 tsp
Basil, 0.5 tbsp
*Cumin seed, 0.25 tsp
Salt, 1 tsp
Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
Directions
1) Mix all ingredients except olive oil in a large bowl. Coat clean hands with olive oil to mix.
2) Divide mixture into equal fourths. Shape into patties.
3) Heat grill pan over medium and coat lightly with oil (or cooking spray). Add patties and cook 5 min per side or until the patties are golden and crispy.
4) Serve on toaster burger buns (calories not included)
5) Dress burgers as you like.
