Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    *Badia Sazon Tropical, 2 tsp (or two packets)
    *Black Pepper, 0.5 tsp
    *Garlic: granulated, 2 tsp
    Tomato Sauce, .25 cup (preferrably no salt added)
    Sweet peppers (bell), .5 cup, chopped
    Manzanilla Green Olives (Pimiento Stuffed ) 5 Olives (chopped)
    White Rice, long grain, 3 cup
    *Black beans, canned, drained and rinsed, 1.75 cup (1 full can)
    Olive Oil, 2 tbsp

Directions

Saute peppers in olive oil on med/high until fragrant, add olives, rinsed beans and saute until completely mixed. Add tomato sauce, pepper, garlic, and seasoning. At this time add the rice and saute with other ingredients. Slowly add water to cover mixture and freely stir (approx 4-5 cups). Bring to boil, lower and simmer on medium stirring occassionally. Once water evaporates, stir one last time and cover, place on low and let cook for approx. 10 - 15 min.
