Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef
    1 lb cubed pork (or sausage)
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    3 stalks celery, chopped
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    1 lb mushrooms, chopped
    1 cup beef bone broth
    2 Tbsp chili powder
    2 teaspoons cumin
    ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
    1 teaspoon paprika
    2 teaspoons salt
    1 twenty-eight oz can “no sugar added” crushed tomatoes
    1 10 oz can tomato paste
    2 cups beef bone broth
    4 ounces butter
    2 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. xanthan gum, as needed
    16 oz Pork, fresh, loin, center rib (chops), boneless, separable lean only, cooked, braised

Directions

1. Brown the meats in a large pot, temporarily remove beef from pot.

2. Sauté onion & garlic in pot.

3. Add all remaining vegetables, cook until just soft.

4. Add all remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.

5. Turn down the heat to low; cover & simmer 90 minutes. If you desire a thicker consistency, sprinkle in xanthan gum before serving.
