Ingredients

    8 ounces beef trimmed tenderloin
    1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
    1/3 teaspoon dark sesame oil
    0.1 garlic clove, finely chopped
    1.5 teaspoons unseasoned rice vinegar
    1/5 small shallots, minced
    2 1/2 teaspoon sour cream
    1 teaspoons chopped fresh cilantro
    1/10 scallion, finely chopped
    dash grated fresh ginger
    dash teaspoon salt
    dash coarsely ground pepper

    1 teaspoons olive oil
1/3 garlic cloves, pushed through a press
    dash crushed red-pepper flakes
6 ouncess broccoli, cut into florets, stems peeled and cut into 1/2" pieces
    2 teaspoons water
    1.5 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
    1/3 teaspoons grated lemon zest
    dash Salt
    dash freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

Directions

1. Heat oven to 425°F. Set tenderloin on a jelly-roll pan. Mix soy sauce, oil and garlic in a small bowl; brush on tenderloin. Roast until done to taste, about 50 minutes for medium-rare (a meat thermometer inserted in thickest part will register 130°F). Transfer tenderloin to a warm platter and let stand 15 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, combine vinegar and shallots in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil until reduced to 1/4 cup, about 4 minutes. Pour into a small bowl and let cool briefly. Whisk sour cream, cilantro, scallion, ginger, salt and pepper into shallot mixture. Slice tenderloin and serve with the sauce on the side.

Serving Size: 1

    Very Good
Hubby made this for me and it was really good! He says it was a lot of prep work though. We shared "one serving". - 1/5/13

    Incredible!
The flavoring for the meat is great! The sauce is slightly strong by itself, but goes well with the beef. (It tastes pretty good on the broccolli as well.)
The seasoning on the broccoli is more subtle, but good. I added more water, about 1/4 cup before covering the pan to help steam the broccoli.
