Ingredients
-
4 Cups of Honey Roasted Peanuts (Trader Joe's is the best)
1 Tbsp of Cinnamon Apple Syrup (if you don't have, use maple syrup)
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
NOTE: Split this into two batches, 4 cups of nuts is to much for your food processor to handle!!!
Directions
Make in two batches - otherwise this will take forever and you'll burn out your food processor.
In a large food processor, Add 1/2 your nuts and process until smooth. You will have to push down the sides a few times. This process takes about 6 minutes. Then add syrup, cinnamon and vanilla. Process until drippy! About another 5 minutes. Taste to make sure it's sweet enough for you. If it is to thick, you can add dribble of canola oil.
Place in a jar or sealed container and store in the cupboard. If it gets to runny, do to heat, then place in the fridge but that will thicken it up allot. If runny or thick, just stir with your knife or spoon. Trust me, any texture you get the peanut butter will taste good. You will never go back to the stuff in the store once you try this.
Next do the 2nd batch!
Enjoy and have fun!!!
