Plain white flour (UK), 150 g (remove)
Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
Yeast, bakers, 0.3 ounce (remove)
Granulated Sugar, 0.5 tsp (remove)
Salt, 0.25 tsp (remove)
*Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average, 1.5 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) (remove)
Spinach, frozen, 0.5 cup (remove)
Garlic, 1.5 clove (remove)
Tomato Paste, 0.5 cup (remove)
Onions, raw, 1 small (remove)
Olive Oil, 1 1tsp (remove)
Valbreso Feta (Light feta cheese), 25 gram(s) (remove)
Parmesan Cheese, grated, 3 tbsp (remove)
*Whole Wheat Flour, 0.75 cup (remove)
1/3 cup fresh basil, chopped
1/2 cup warm water
1/8 cup semolina
Directions
- mix yeast, sugar, 0.5 cup of warm water with 1 tbsp flour and until the yeast dissolve, cover and let it stand for 10 min.
- mix the rest of flour, olive oil, and salt in an electric mixer and add to it the yeast mixture until you have an elastic dough
- move the dough in floured bowel, knead for 1 min and cover for 1 hour in a warm place.
- spread the dough on a surface sprinkled with 1/5 quantity of semolina Knead for 1 min and spread the dough on a backing pan
- spread the sauce, then spinach, feta cheese, tomatoes ( you can use cherry tomatoes halved) and Parmesan cheese
- bake in a very hot oven for 20 min,
- prepare the sauce : heat 1 tsp olive oil, add chopped onions, minded garlic and cook till soft, add 1/3 cup fresh chopped basil tomato and paste with 1/4 cup water and a pinch of sugar. Cook the sauce until thickened
