Ingredients

1 large head broccoli , about 1 1/2 lbs
1/2T canola oil
4 cloves garlic finely minced
2 slices ginger root finely minced
3 T oyster sauce
1/4 c low sodium chicken broth
1 t toasted sesame oil
Directions
1. trim florets off top of broccoli , then cut bottom inch of stock off and peel off tough out skin , cut stock into 1/4 " slices
2 bring a large pot of water to boil, add broccoli and cook for 2 - minutes or until broccoli is bright green and tender crisp.
drain and run under cold water to stop the cooking drain again and spread on a clean cotton ( not terrycloth ) dish cloth to remove excess water. set aside.
3 heat oil in wok or large nonstick skillet and add garlic and ginger, stir fry about 30 seconds being careful not to burn the garlic or it will be bitter.
4 add the broccoli and toss over high heat 1 minute to heat through before adding oyster sauce and chicken sauce continue cooking and stirring until brocolli is coated and piping hot
5 add toasted sesame oil give a final stir and remove to a heated bowl for serving
