Introduction

Easy, cheap, tasty, low cal, and kid friendly. So kid friendly, it makes me want to run screaming to the nearest sushi bar!! Easy, cheap, tasty, low cal, and kid friendly. So kid friendly, it makes me want to run screaming to the nearest sushi bar!!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    30 oz bag of frozen hash browns, thawed
    1 lb ground beef (93% lean used in calculation)
    1 can sloppy joe sauce
    1 can cream of potato soup (or your choice "cream of" soup, but cream of potato used in calculation)
    1 cup shredded colby jack cheese

Directions

Brown ground beef until no longer pink. Stir in sloppy joe sauce and soup.

Spray 9 x 13 dish with nonstick spray and pour thawed hash browns in bottom of dish. Spoon meat mixture onto hash browns.

Cover (I use foil) and bake at 450 degrees for 25 minutes. Uncover, top with shredded cheese and bake 10 more minutes.

Serving Size: divide 9 x 13 dish into 8 equal squares
